The Institute of Religious Studies School Track is for those teachers in Catholic Schools who teach religion in the classroom. The requirements for this track are as follows:

Read the Second Vatican Council's Declaration on Christian Education and answer its Exit Requirements.

View the IRS dvd presentation on the Catechism of the Catholic Church (available from the Office of Evangelization & Catechesis).

Read the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults (available from the Office of Evangelization & Catechesis).

Answer the IRS exit requirements based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church, also found in the IRS Catholic Schools Exit Questions booklet.
