Tee off times close for annual Bishop’s Charity Golf Classic

Tee off times for the 18th annual Bishop’s Charity Golf Classic are close now as is the time for the Golf Classic banquet.
The event will be August 26-27, first at the Ramkota Hotel, Sioux Falls for the banquet and then at the Minnehaha and Westward Ho Country Clubs the next day.
The banquet features a social and silent auction beginning at 5 p.m.
The funds raised at the banquet and the bishop’s golf classic are key to helping fulfill the mission of Broom Tree.
On Monday, there will be two simultaneous golf tournaments, “The Bishop’s Scramble” and “The Bishop’s Cup”, which will be held at Westward Ho and Minnehaha Country Clubs with shotgun starts at noon.
The day ends on Monday with a relaxed barbecue at Westward Ho Country Club, where experiences from the day will be shared and awards presented to the winning teams in “The Bishop’s Charity Golf Classic.”
This is a great time for Catholics from around the state to gather for fun, fellowship, and to show their support and learn more about the Broom Tree Retreat Center.
With so many struggling and juggling their time, having an opportunity and place in the diocese like the Broom Tree Youth and Family Camp where families can visit, experience and grow in their journey to holiness is a blessing.
