Rev. Gary DeRouchey, from temporary assignment
as military chaplain to administrator of Ss. Peter and Paul,
Pierre.
Rev. Paul Rutten, from associate pastor
of St. Mary, Aberdeen to director of the Pius XII Newman Center
and administrator of St. Paul, White, effective August 2,
2004.
Rev. Michael Kelly, while continuining as
pastor of St. George, Hartford, as chaplain to the Veterans’
Administration Hospital, Sioux Falls.
Rev. Leonard Kayser, while continuing service
as chaplain at the Mickelson Center for the Neurosciences,
Yankton, as administrator of St. Agnes, Sigel.
Rev. J. Joseph Holzhauser, pastor of Holy
Trinity, Huron, is with the South Dakota National Guard, serving
our armed forces in Afghanistan. He is expected back in early
2005.
Rev. Donald Imming has graciously agreed
to postpone retirement to become temporary administrator of
Holy Trinity Parish, during Rev. Holzhauser national guard
service.
Rev. Terry Weber, at his request, will be taking a year-long
sabbatical for further study and renewal, as of July 1, 2004.
Rev. Paul Nereparampil-Lonappan, CMI, with
the approval of his religious superior, from chaplain for
the Franciscan Sisters of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Avera
Queen of Peace Hospital, to administrator of St. Mary, Highmore
and St. John, Harrold.
Rev. Thomas Westhoven, SCJ, with the approval
of his religious superior, to the Lower Brule pastoral team
which serves St. Joseph, Ft. Thompson; St. Catherine, Big
Bend and Immaculate Conception, Stephan.
Deacon Peter Mehlhaff, transferred from
Sacred Heart Parish, Aberdeen to St. Mary Parish, Aberdeen.
Deacon Donald Wagner, as Chaplain at Avera
McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls.
